Inauguration ceremony for our training pitches

After more than a year, the moment had finally arrived: the new cricket training facility at Sportpark Weil was officially opened.
Whilst the two batting cages and the astro turf were already completed last year, the two bowling machines – which ensure a consistent ball delivery – were still missing. Thanks to a crowdfunding campaign, these have now been purchased.
At a ceremony attended by representatives of the SV board and founding members of SCV, department head Harish Srinivasan thanked the board for the warm welcome given to the new department and all those present for their active an financial support. The symbolic red ribbon was then cut and, to applause, those present were allowed to hit the first balls.
